In June, I posted an article about how to find a mentor, which inspired a series of posts about my own mentors. The first installment was about the spiritual author, Wayne Dyer, and the second was about the meditation guru OSHO. This post is dedicated to my newest mentor, Pat Flynn.
I’ve been following Pat for just over a year now, since the start of the pandemic. Pat is a super positive geeky dude, his favorite movie is Back to the Future, he’s a big fan of Star Wars, and his dog’s name is Jedi. Not only is he my long-lost geekdom brother, but he’s also an incredibly sharp mentor when it comes to online entrepreneurship. If you’ve ever thought about starting an online business, or have already started one, Pat is a great source of info. He has multiple YouTube channels devoted to passive income – one of which is dedicated to Pokemon cards and has risen to success in a short period of time, so it goes to show he knows what he’s doing.
Pat has written several fantastic books that I highly recommend, including Will It Fly?: How to Test Your Next Business Idea So You Don’t Waste Your Time and Money, as well as Superfans: The Easy Way to Stand Out, Grow Your Tribe, and Build a Successful Business. He also hosts a successful podcast called Smart Passive Income (SPI) and runs a membership group called SPI Pro, which is great for online entrepreneurs. It’s a fantastic support system for online business-driven individuals. I am personally a member! If you’re interested in podcasting, blogging, YouTube, creator-related content, or online courses – it has something for you.
If you’re not looking to work in a group, Pat also has a number of online courses on email marketing, affiliate marketing, podcasting, and webinars all packed with lots of insights and tools stemming from legitimate experience. Not only is Pat a consummate professional, he’s also a genuinely good-hearted guy who wants to help you succeed. He shares a lot and teaches in a way to help you feel good and support the people you are trying to serve. Pat Flynn gets the Press Start seal of approval, so give him a visit today.
